Computer aided design

We design our gardens using pen and paper (or the flamboyant use of a flip chart and big fat marker pens in Ian’s case) but we embrace CAD as our preferred drawing medium for garden design.
This allows us complete control of the drawing process and gives us the ability to make alterations and modifications to the masterplan quickly and in minute detail. It is also a cost effective method for the customer – complete redraws by hand are expensive but often unavoidable – using CAD we can move, delete and modify in minutes.

We can also send and receive drawings via email allowing us to communicate fully not just with the client but also with any of the professionals involved on the project.
Ian Farbon lectures on CAD (Vectorworks) and we draw for other
design firms too – in both 2D and 3D.
