Front garden in Cambridge

Even in the snow landscape:evolution goes to work!

Our latest project should start today although it is snowing heavily and marking out a new site in these conditions is not an easy task.  This Cambridge front garden was cleared of plants at the end of last year and we have designed an interesting space that allows the owners to walk to the front door without cutting across the grass (known as a desire line) and a less ‘utilitarian’ walk to the garage and side gate.  We are using black limestone (this matches the stone used in the rear garden) – from www.bannold.co.uk and the design combines setts and paving slabs. So there is much to do – here is the design and we’ll keep you posted as to progress. The contractors for this project are www.brownie-points.biz.
